I broke 2 vertebraes in my back 8 years ago subsequently was involves in a car accident a year later now have upper back pain and neck pain that is now arthritis.I have a daughter which she is 6.I've always longed for another child but now being on durogesic patches for pain relief an I can't see any alternative for my pain as nothing else works.I want another child but really can't see it happening.has anyone else used durogesic patches during pregnancy.I know the risks I have been researching those for around 2 years.it's heartbreaking to see my daughter asking my mum for a baby sister or brother:(

for how long have you been on Duragesic patches? Like you said yourself, it's not recommended to use them during pregnancy at all and even in cases when the women used patches before they realize they're pregnant, babies did have consequences like problems with breathing. And since the active ingredient, fentanyl, crosses over to milk, you'd be having problems with breastfeeding as well.
What I think you should do is to consult first with both the doctor prescribing you Duragesic patches and your ob-gyn, to try to find some other solution that would control your pain while it still might be possible for you to have a healthy pregnancy,
