Metoprolol is used for decreasing the high blood pressure level and for relieving you of the symptoms of angina pectoris. It also prevents heart attacks. Aspirin (Ecotrin) is used for decreasing the possibility of blood cloth production. So, you see, both of these meds are quite meaningful for your therapy.
