The lower left side of my back hurts. The doctor gave me an epidural in the right side. When I questioned him he said that was correct. Is it?

An epidural works by targeting your nervous system, which it helps to think of as a road.
Your blood vessels are street roads with a speed limit of 20mph, your lymphatic system is a freeway with speeds of 100mph, and your central nervous system is a science created mass effect enging using super rocket ship, with speeds of 8 billion mph.
Basically..it doesnt matter where you get the injection because it will work anyway due to the speed with which the signals travel in it, infact its better not to do the injection directly onto the site of pain. This is because if the area in pain is damaged such as slipped discs or broken bones, then the epidural will be less effective.
