Hi there. I am a 34 year old woman, have been on the birth control pill for five years now and was just told that I have Raynaud’s phenomenon. Apparently, I need to come off the pill as estrogen pills are said to be a possible cause of Raynaud’s disease. Is this true? Is there any birth control pill that is safe with Raynaud’s phenomenon?

There are non estrogen BC and then the copper wire (ask your doc) however my Reynaud's phenomenon went just about completely away when I stopped use of all BC. We switched to family planning and it worked very very well for us. Now I've had tubal ligation(no more babies for me) and being completely off BC has made a HUGE difference. Best of luck.
