Two days ago I experienced such cramping and pain in my abdomen after sex that I almost fainted, and could barely walk. I figured it was just that my boyfriend hit my cervix really hard or something, even though the sex was not that rough. But it's been about two whole days now and the pain is still there, and my abdomen is swollen and hurts really bad if it's pressed. It has also radiated upward from the uterus area and is mostly centered around my belly button and just under my ribs. And from time to time it's really painful to breathe normally, and laughing or coughing is outrageously painful. It's hard to walk and move around, and the pain has lessened a bit but it's still bad enough that I don't think I could go to work like this, or walk for a long period of time. Also I should mention that a bit before that I bled after sex with him, and I have been eating a lot of outrageously spicy food, and have also been under extreme amounts of stress. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? I've tried looking up things on the internet but it seems like abdominal pain like this can mean so many different things.

I was leading towards a UTI (Urinary Tract infection), but everything seems to be saying the same thing. I didnt want to go to a doctor until i knew for sure that there was definetly something wrong and that the pain wasn't just due to the night beforehand, but as the pain seems to have lasted this long i think it's unevitable.
If anybody seems to narrow it down to anything, then that would help alot.

I hope someone could provide a little advice for me. I'm 23 years old and a healthy weight after losing 5 stone (yippee). I first experienced an awful, sharp pain inside my vagina (deep pain, not at the opening) on my left side about 6 weeks ago with my boyfriend and I had awful pains in my abdomen. I also bled a little afterwards and the pain continued for a few days along with shooting pains inside my vagina. Ever since then whenever we have tried the same has happened. More recently in the last 2 weeks I have been experiencing upper left abdominal pains which range from just a discomfort to a sharp shooting pain and I also get pains/a feeling of pressure being put on the lower part of my lungs, mostly to the left side. About 80% of the time it gets worse after a big meal. Has anyone else experienced this?
I am waiting for an ultrasound but it's not until the end of this month, I've been tested for urinary infections and pregnancy and both came back negative, I'm also on birth control pills and have never had problems with them since I started using them at 17 years old.
I have also just had my period and it was not normal for me at all, it was VERY light compared to what I normally have and it has pretty much stopped now after only 4 days when it is usually around 8-9 days for me. Any advice at all would be so appreciated as my Doctors are being extremely unhelpful.

Girls, if you experience such a pain, especially that doesnt go down after several hours, I say whether you are health insured or not go to emergency room. Yes, it could be nothing serious - but pains dont come for no reason. It could be, cyst, lump, abcess, appendix, gall bladder stones, urine bladder stones, some other infections, and G-d forbid cancer, etc... These could be deadly and lead to infertility (case of an abcess) - Reality! In my case it turned out being pelvic abcess which usually affects female reproductive system. I had similarly described above pains, except they were not after sex, they felt like menstrual cramps. My period was due in about a week. Just because I thought the pains may be linked to my girly time, I waited 30 hours before submitting myself to emergency room. Finally, I faced the reality and recognised that the pains though seem like period pains were different in the sense that they werent coming and going cramps, it was consistent pain. I couldn't move my legs as it gave pains to stomach, I barely walked, I lost apetite for except chicken soup, I had fever, I vomited once half hour after taking advil pain reliever when pain just started. I felt extremely cold for several hours before I used heating pad. Be aware of those measures too - the heating pad helped me tremendously to warm up, however in case of appendix it may burst it with incorrect use, which can be deadly. You should not be having pains that disabling you either partially or fully, or that disturbing you. Luckly I had someone near me who helped me along the way and drove me to the hospital. So, now while there are many better things I'd like to focus on, I spend great deal of time trying to find about the extent of the damage I got from the abcess and how to get follow-up care which is difficult to get, dreading over possibility of further surgeries that may be more invasive and spending hours on research. Lots of fun! Get yourselves checked, get help and hope that its nothing serious! Its better to break your routine for a few hours or a few days to find out you had minor issue or no issue at all, rather than risk getting serious consequences. Best to all of you!
