I have been with the same guy now for over 2 years and over the past couple of nights while and after having sex i've had some discomfort on top, but normally after a couple minutes the pain would subside. However, tonight when we were having intercourse with any position i had so much abdominal pain that i couldn't even finish. It has now been 1 hour since we have had sex and the pain hasnt gone away or dulled at all. It hurts when i cough, try to sit up, cough, and walk. I had a baby in march and had a c-section. I dont know if this would have anything to do with it but just thought that whoever would provide information might need to know that. I dont know if this could be appendicitis. Any input wold help. thanks.

Hi honey! IF it was your appendix it would be on the side of your body - right above your ovaries! And this is intense!

What you are describing is very common, I would think that you have a yeast infection! And also know that you don't need a discharge or itchiness to have a yeast infection! It hurts at the top of your cervix - which feels like your abdomen! Since you have had a c-section well over 6 months ago, I doubt that this has anything to do with this! UNLESS they had to attach your bladder!!! You could also have a UTI! And when your bladder is full, and you are having sex, the infected bladder or urethra is put under stress - thus the pain! So the 1st thing I would like you to do is to get your urine checked for any infection, then to get checked for a yeast infeciton - usually you don't need to see a doctor for a yeast infection. BUT because you are in a lot of pain, I would like you to get checked out ASAP!

Also are your periods regular? Because pain during and after sex CAN be from either cystic ovaries OR a precursor to endometeriosis!!! So regardless of what is going on, I would REALLY like you to get checked by your doctor! Also please ask for a pelvic ultrasound - just to get to the bottom of it is more than a UTI! OK? I hope this helps you a bit! Good luck and health, and please let me know how you make out OK?

Thank you SOOOOO much for your info!!!! I am going to make an appointment on Monday to get it all checked out! The pain has pretty much gone away this morning but it is still scary and defiantly want to get it checked out.
In response to your question asking if My periods are regular. They are not, After I had my baby I bled for the usual 6 weeks after and haven't had a period sense. I have taken pregnancy tests and they are all negitave and everyone has told me that it is because Im still breast feeding, that I haven't had a period.
Thanks again!

This is true - for the most part about breast feeding! BUT it can also mean Ovarian Cysts! Which are VERY common! So don't be worried about that OK? Most of the time, they disappear on their own, and sometimes they need to be "kicked out!!!" ;-) XD So fingers crossed and please let me know how you make out OK? Good luck and health honey!
