I've had my period for a month now & through out the month I have only stoped bleeding for one day. I've had to pee a lot more since I've had my period which isn't normal for me. & have had extremely bad stomach cramps every few days. What is wrong? Is this normal? I'm only 16.

Dear Rachael
No, a month of bleeding is not normal. I don't know how long you have been menstruating, or whether you are on contraceptive pills, or indeed any other medication, but I suggest you see your doctor. Where are you?

I was taking birth control last month but stoped after a 3 days because I was getting sick from them. Which caused my period to be a few days late. I started taking my new b.c. on the 3rd which was the 1st day of my period. I stoped taken it after a complet week just because I kept forgeting to take it. Since the 3rd of Oct. I've been on my period.

Dear Rachael
Stopping taking the pill midcycle will advance your period, and your fertile times and expected periods will be uncertain for a while. However, you shouldn't be bleeding for a month. It has probably made you anaemic. I would certainly consult a doctor (wherever you are). You need the bleeding investigated.
Hope this helps.

I have been getting extremely bad stomach pains for 3-4 years. It feels like I'm dying. How to stop it?
