A friend of mine, who is Chinese in origin though she grew up in the US, told me that some Chinese people carry around herbs for money, and distribute them throughout the house as well. Apparently this is linked to feng shui in some way. I don't know if it works or not, but it does sound like a lovely idea!

I do know that some people who are into feng shui do monthly cleansings of their houses, office space or whatever real estate they protect with feng shui. The only detail I know about this ritual is that sage leaves are burned, and people practising feng shui pay particular attention to the corners.

Really? I did not know that. I think I will ask my friend if she knows anything about rituals with sage. Do you know if that is supposed to induce wealth or help a person make money too? That would be great. I don't know enough about feng shui. Maybe I will buy a book.
