Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex, and he did not take it out on time. I talked to my friend who has been thru this and she said I should get the morning after pill. The thing that I have been thinking about is, I know that I takes about a week or so for the sperm to fertilize. I was pregnant before and when I went to the doctors he told me ,the date that me and my boyfriend planed the baby ,was the day I got pregnant. Can that be possible? And if I’m pregnant will the pill work. I don’t want kill my baby, but we are not ready for another one.How does the pill work anyway?? I’m lost please some one help me!!!

Heres the deal Vera.
The morning after pill is used 'the morning after you have sex', or up to 5 days after you have had sex.
You cannot use it if you are already pregnant, because nothing will happen, except that you will flood your body with hormones.
You need to be on BC pills if you do not wish to become pregnant.
IF it has been less than 5 days since you had sex, you can take the morning after pill.
Within 3 days of sex, the MAP is 89% effective.
