On Friday I woke up to go to the restroom and was severely bleeding from my rectum.  I called my doctor who performed my colonoscopy and they made an appointment for Monday.  Well Friday I went to the ER at night because there had been so much blood.  They said it would be fine.  Today I find out that I have to have a hemorrhoidectomy. (Today is Monday, my appointment).  As I am told by the doctor I have several large hemorrhoids that are internal.  I am having absolutely NO PAIN but the blood is the worse of it all.  There is tons.  So my question is to you guys, how painful is going to the restroom after the hemorrhoidectomy?  I have read horror stories and I have read some non painful stories.  I just need to know what to expect.  I suffer from IBS and usually have to run to the restroom several times after eating, so I am scared of the pain.  I am like a HUGE baby!  I also have a few outer hemorrhoids that don't bother me that he is going to remove.  Any recomendations, stories, anything is welcome.
