I'm 16 years old and I'm 5"5 1/2 and 227 pounds. I'm aprox. 90 pounds overweight and I'm diagnosed with excersize enduced athsma. Cardiovascular workouts such as running, jogging, even long walks make my chest ache and throat 'freeze'(get really cold). I do muscular excersizes but seem to have little effect. Any ways I can lose weight without having to endure that pain?

Hi,
I coach a few people in weight loss, fittness and body building - and the one key thing I've learned is you have too maintain your heart-rate around a certian area. But for you I can see there be an issue in this. Low intencity workouts can be great for people who are bad at cardio, maintain a decent heart-rate. Nothing too big - but lifting weights and sweating helps you burn calories too.
Browse around the net, websites like muscleandstrength have lots of workouts.
I hope I've helped!
Mr T. Mitchell.
