I am just coming to the end of my 16th month with Implanon, it hasn't caused me much hassle although for the first few months I was having a short very light brown "period" every other month. I haven't experienced any "period" for about a year now up until last week when I started getting this light brown discharge again, It is constant although it is very light, I am a little concerned, I was just wondering if it was just the Implanon?

I am go glad to here this because i am having the same problem and its so horrible to have this light brown discharge. I had went to the doctor and she said it is from the Implanon. I have had the implanon now for a year but having the brown discharge for a few months but she to wait it out and your body will fix it.

im getting the implant later on todayy! im quite skinny. will it affect my weightt?!!! apparently you put loads of weight on!! and im worried about the periods? apparently they can be really heavy and longg? xx

I have had mine 18months now , no periods & no weight gain, no moods swings at all unlike when I was having the injection. Just get some jellylike stuff sometimes...think this may be cervical mucus?? as it thickens it apparently. Hope you got on ok x :-)

im having the same problem!!!! ive had mucus and stuff i was so scared tht i was prgnant but the implanon is 99.99999 percent effective lol ive had mine for probably half a year now . im not worried now, definitly go to the doctor
