Jelly like substance in the semen

Hey there,

I am 31, normally my semen is thick and very huge amounts... About a week and a half ago, I was having pain and pressure while i pee, thought it was the stones due to traces of blood after i stopped peeing. Went to the Doc and had ultrasound and xrays performed and all clear... blood test for ant STD's or HIV has come back neg... since ive seen the doc the pain and pressure has stopped while i pee but when i masterbate everythinig feels fine till i ejaculate.. I have a small amout of pain, the ammount that comes out is not even quarter of what i was lets say 2 weeks ago... There is jelly like substance in the semen... the best way for me to describe it is those jelly circle things in tapioca pudding... as normal semen usually is thick or whatever when coming out and if left alone slowly turns to liquid and clear this jelly stuff stays jelly and yellowish .... So if anyone knows how to fix this or what may be causing it please let me know

I have exactly the same problem yellow jelly like substance colour of semen is not even white more like colourless or offwhite couldn't find any answers need help

I had the same problem with chunks in my sperm since I was 25. At age 40 I my doctor prescribed Trileptal for depression. Trileptal is normally used as an anti seizure medication. But they found that it also works for treating depression. After I started taking the Trileptal my problem with chunks in my sperm went away. Also my sex drive increased as well as my sperm count. Although when I stop taking the Trileptal the problem with chunks in my sperm came back. I have been taking Trileptal 300mg every other day for the past 4 years now and haven't had an issue with the Jelly chunks in my sperm at all. The Trileptal doesn't seem to have any adverse side effects and I'm comfortable taking it. Hope this helps

I started taking Trileptal for depression. Trileptal is normally used as anti-seizure medication . after taking Trileptal I no longer had jelly chunks in my sperm I noticed. Also my sperm count increased and so did my sex drive. Ever since I was 25 I had this problem with the jelly chunks in my sperm. And now in my forties taking the Trileptal I no longer have an issue with jelly chunks in my sperm. I take 300 milligrams every other day. It doesn't seem to be a cure as when I stop taking the Trileptal the problem with jelly chunks in my sperm comes back. So I think I will continue taking the Trileptal as it also enhances my orgasms. Hope this helps let me know if it works for you too.

Also don't drink alcohol or soda or smoke. All 3 of these can cause your sperm to be clumpy with jelly like chunks.

Never touched alcohol in my life, soda sometimes and don't smoke I am a athlete and workout a lot. Do you think intense workout routine can be one of the reason behind this?
