hi,

i am 27 year old, single, i used to masturbate quiet frequently.Recently i have my semen tested for analysis and following are the tested values, i want to know about my fertility!

i also want to inform you that i have given this semen sample after 10 days of abstinence of masturbation and also no nocturnal discharge occur in this period but while giving this sample 4-5 drops of semen were wasted out and were not included in the sample tested, does this effect the viability of the test?

I'm afraid I am not a medical doctor and not qualified to render an opinion on whether you are fertile or not.

But, I can react to a few things that you have shared.

You cite 35 million sperm in the sample. That seems like A LOT!

And the motility factors would appear to be adequate for having an active sperm to impregnate within an hour of sex.

I don't understand why you went to all this difficulty. Are you trying to have a baby? Has there been some question about your fertility? Are you trying to convince someone that you are fertile? Or are you trying to prove that you are not the father?

Finally, I think you want to have this information reviewed by your doctor. After all, they are the ones who ordered the test, right? They can interpret it.
Why not get the interpretation from them?

Hi this is anirudh here...as per your above report i can say that its a normal report...and is best to produce a child..the normal range of total count is 15 million as per WHO, yous is 35million,Ph is perfect, normal 60% is good...but the thing is that you have not mentioned the motile %..ie motility...this matters a lot...motility means active..the sperm moving fast only reach till Egg/oocyte.but as you have 60% normal sperm the things are quite fair..if one has to increase his motility he has to dip his testis in cold water for atleast 5 minutes a day..Jeans/tight undergarment/alcohol/tabacco are few reasons of low sperm count/motility...

As far as ur reports is concerned, it shows that count, morphology, consistancy, PH, appearance is okay. Now the problem i think is in motility...cuz u ve only 5% rapidly motile sperm. Rapidly motile are the sperm which reach the fallopian tube and fertilise egg there...so they play very important role in natural pregnancy....Also another thing which is a little bit disturbing is the large volume, which indicate that there might be any thing wrong with ur accesory glands...
