I was fine when I was only taking cymbalta but I began taking Wellbutrin with it and I had rapid weight gain. Something about the combination of the two for me, I gained 12 lbs in 2 months while still exercising and watching calorie intake.

I took both these together and continued losing weight. I also did continue to eat well though, when I took them which could be part of it. The only negative I had was tiredness and constant sweating which is to be expected if it speeds up your metabolism.

I have started taking both. I take Wellbutrin in the morning which I lowered my dose from 300ml XL to 150mg SR due to hair loss and not being able to sleep. I am taking cymbalta before bed which is a new drug for me.

Hello I too have fibromyalgia. my doctor prescribed 150 mg tablet two times a day for Wellbutrin for my seasonal disorder. I went back complaining of pain in my muscles all over my body in different places and he said I probably have fibromyalgia so then he prescribed 30 mg of Cymbalta once a day to combine with the wellbutrin. I have been taking this since May 2017 and it is now September 2017, I have noticed a huge difference I feel so much better it's almost unbelievable! I barely hurt at all anymore. I was having two and three very bad days a week and was missing work because of it and I haven't missed any work for my fibromyalgia since I started taking Cymbalta. I have had a few bad days but only one or two a month. I know I sound like a commercial for Cymbalta but I honestly believe it's the combination of the Cymbalta and the Wellbutrin that has helped. I would recommend that you at least try it I saw results within a week, of course everyone is different and it may not work as well for you but believe me it's worth a try.

I have tried many AD's first Zoloft which I liked at first, but after a dosage increase i became depressed and quit taking it which made me miserable for a month, then Prozac which have me worse anxiety and troubled sleep, Celexa came next which I actually liked how calm it made me, but a psych took me off it and put me on Level to which is a "newer version of celexa" however I had worsening depression so then came Effexor which I had bad side effects to do i was put on Cymbalta and I love it now i take 60mg of cymbalta, 150mg wellbutrin xl Added On and the combo is great for me.

I am on 90mg cymbalta and 150mg of Wellbutrun for depression. I was on Effexor for 15years and found it was not working anymore. We started on 60mg Cymbalta gradually increasing to 90, it wasn't working either so we added Wellbutrun, since being on this combination l have developed the odd heart flutter and really bad perspiration from head to toe, I have also started having anxiety attacks and periods of anger, teariness l really do not feel good at all and would love to feel normal again....
