I have had a similar issue of multiple "periods" in a month and recently went to the OBGYN to have this checked. I have never been on birth control due to allergies. She diagnosed me with poly-cystic ovaries. This is one of the most common uterin issues in woman. This can cause increased bleeding, irregular bleeding and hormone issues. It can make getting pregnant more challenging, but should not inhibit. I would recommend you see a doctor.

I have a similar issue. for the month of july my period was 12 days late. I took several pregnancy tests all were negative. But i finally got it at the very end of july it was basically normal lasted about 6 days as they usually do. then it ended and I still felt cramps and pelvic pain intermittently. Then a bout two weeks later It came back again all very dark blood lots of clotting and tissues and this long thick cord like thing came out. extreme cramps and pelvic pain. that lastd for about 5 days and then I was done. I still felt cramps had headaches vertigo and pelvic pain intermittently. then about a week later I got my period again this time bright red blood...This has never happened to me before. I am 25 years old and have not been on the pill since I was 19. any ideas as to what this could be? I dont have a doctor or any insurance. I havent had a papsmear done since I was 20.

This sounds almost exactly like what I'm dealing with this past month. Did u figure out wht it was? I don't have insurance and would like to rule out a few things..
Look forward to your response.

Have your doctor check you for fibroids. They are noncancerous tumors in the uterus. They can cause the symptoms that you just described.

I had my period for six days, then it went off, so I had sex a day later. Three days after that my period came right back on. Is that normal?
