She became unable to function, walk, feed herself! They switched her to Xanax and she is not doing any better!

It was only 10 days on Zoloft 25,75,then 100mg and Xanax is only .25 in am and pm.

She went from a slightly depressed FUNCTIONING independant person who could grocery shop, make dinner and do laundry and play cards..... to someone IN A WHEEL CHAIR who needs help EATING and using the bathroom and getting dressed! 

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!? 

We had her through ALL medical tests, no brain or heart issues, no demintia, we had to put her in a facility for rehab!  they are NOT HELPING.  I am looking for any stories of ELDERLY BAD REACTIONS TO MEDS?
