I am writing because I have a 28 year old sister that is 5 months pregnant and addicted to pain medication. She is taking Vicodin, Valium, Xanax, Morophine, Seroquel, Ambien, Fentanyl Patches... and i'm sure there are some that I don't know about. She spends her day taking her medications and passing out in the chair.. Sometimes falling down, spilling food on herself, falling asleep at the dinner table ect. I really need some advice from someone that isn't family or a friend. My sister lives 4 hours away from me with her husband and his grandmother. Her husband is either in denial or just turns the other cheek. They are on the verge of losing there house because of her addiction.

My biggest fear out of all of this is her unborn babies safety. I live in MI... I don't know if the baby will get taken away.. I hear of so many women having drug addicted babies and they go home with the parents. I am fearful my sister is going to Overdose, but I am also fearful for that unborn baby. I will take any advice that I can get. I have called DHS, but they went out there for a few weeks and she manipulated them to think that she was fine. ]

Once she was admitted for a CMH evaluation and she was home 7 hours.. Just a few things we have done / seen.
