My husband's MRI shows moderate to severe spinal stenosis at L4-5. He is told he is a very good candidate for surgical decompression. This would be a minimally invasive (sometimes called "tubular") laminectomy with no fusion or instrumentation.
His symptoms are throbbing pain in both legs after walking about 150 yards.
Has anyone had this surgery? Did it relieve similar symptoms?
Were there any complications or side effects?
Thank-you,
jb
