I got my period on January 17th and I stopped taking yaz on the 25th. I got my period again on the 30th, is this normal? Also this second time around I am kinda heavy, my period for maybe 3 months have been light.

Hi! While you're on Yaz, your body adjusts to a heightened hormonal level. When the medication is stopped, it may take a while for the body's hormonal level to return to normal. You may experience menstrual irregularity for a few months after stopping Yaz. It may take a few weeks for your period to return, and resume a normal schedule. Breakthrough bleeding and spotting can occur during this time. I guess these are just normal side effects of stopping Yaz. I hope this helps.
