My doctor advised me to start taking yaz after i finished my sugar pill on "levlon" which i have done, but ever sence i have started yaz i can't seem to get rid of my period there not heavy just alot of brown discharge and sometimes red it has been on and off for the last 3 weeks and doesn't seem to be leaving yet i am only 2 weeks into my pink pill, is this normal side effects with yaz i know i didn't have this on levlon so i am very curious to know why is it happening now.
Also ever sence i have been on it my boobs hurt all the time, i feel moody and am hating on life even tho there isn't anything to hate. my boyfriend seems to cop all my crankyness, and i cry at almost everything and anything, very tired all the time and my depression seems to be coming back i eat more then i want and feel abit sick at times.
I have looked up side effects from yaz and other peoples information but i just want to know this is normal on yaz?
and how long should my periods last for before i start to get worried?
I have read alot of bad things about yaz should i maybe go back to my old pill? the doctor doesn't seem to worried but everyone else that has been on it isn't impressed so im kinda freaked out about it.

Hi, I was on Yaz for a few months, and I just got off of it in November. I wouldn't be too worried, sometimes it can take a few months for your body to adjust to the changes. However, breakthrough bleeding or spotting is very common on Yaz, I experienced it the entire time, it sucked. Also, because your taking more active pills your taking more estrogen so the side effects your feeling can happen, I also experienced headaches!
Its your body! So if your not happy with Yaz, then go back to your doctor and express your concerns and demand to change pills. Every women is different and different pills affect everyone different, it can take some time to find the right fit for you. You know whats right for you and whats not, so if your not okay being on Yaz then ask to try a different one. But just remember it can take around 3 months for your body to adjust.
Hope this helps. You can ask me more if you need too.
