got kind of a complicated story but i'll try....
i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend in the monrning (unprotected) and then that evening i became ill so went to hospital and they put me on antibiotics that evening for a kidney infection but i'm worried that the antibiotic may have affected my contraceptive protection... could i be pregnant if i had sex before I took the antibiotic? please help

Im guessing you are on the pill.
If so you will be fine, antibiotics do reduce the protection of the pill. But only when you start taking them.
Take extra protection for the rest of the month.
I hope you are feeling better an your kidney infection has gone.
My daughter has had a lot of waterworks infection. They can be very nasty.
