Yes, it may effect it. You should a pregnancy test inbetween shots. If youre unsure &having serious or noticeable symptoms, stop taking the shot & see a doctor for blood & urine test. Depending on how long youve been on the depo you can get right back on it without any side effects if the tests prove neg. Always use protection inbetween times. If you had unprotected intimacy the same day of the shot against recommendations you can still be pregnant without knowing it.
