Guys, be careful around plan b. It has been classified by the world health organization, along with other birth controls, to be a group one carcinogen (cancer causing substance)

Let me know how your cleanse goes!! My face was so clear and beautiful and I took plan B and now it's DISGUSTING. I've never broken out like this in my entire life. I read every single post in here and am starting my 1 gallon of water a day RIGHT NOW. Let me know if your cleanse cleared you up!

Found this post after suffering with my face recently. Always had a few spots but at the moment it’s broken out so bad particularly around the mouth and forehead. Don’t think the morning after pill I took was called plan b but think it was something similar you get in Scotland . My sports are so painful and ugly it’s really getting me down. Have a doctor appointment for next Wednesday so hopefully find out somehow to fix it.

This happened to me as well :( I took it October 2015 and I noticed breakouts almost immediately. I would get new bumps on my face everyday and I got to a point where I couldn’t look at people in the eyes anymore because I was THAT self conscious. I took around 4.5 months for it to finally subside. For this same reason I’m scared of taking any form of bc.

I literally took plan B when I was 19 and I’m 24 now. I had just transitioned out of acne at around 17 and I hadn’t had breakouts for 2+ years. After I took plan b my skin has never been the same, that was 5 years ago. I get breakouts all the time and my skin is covered in acne scars. I really do think plan B permanently imbalances the hormones of some women, if you haven’t taken it yet, beware. When I was 23 I needed emergency contraceptive and I used Ella with no side effects on my skin.

I'm 18 and took Plan B only a week ago, I woke up two days ago with my for the most part clear, and healthy, but sensitive skin, BROKEN OUT like I've never seen.
I am currently in the last semester of my senior year, and am freaking out. From cyst like acne under my jawline, to the patches of rash-like, dry skin, and the red bumps appearing all over my cheeks, I hate my face right now. My confidence has gone down the drain, my friends, family, and boyfriend have asked me if I'm okay - because my normally bubbly, outgoing self is now hidden behind a sheet of an acne horror story.

In short, the overload of hormones that Plan B releases, causing acne in some women is in my opinion not worth it. Be safe, use a condom, be on birth control, and don't make the mistake I did. Plan B is awful for your body. IT works, but the side effects aren't worth it.
