I stopped taking depo provera over 2wks ago. The past few days I've been tired all the time,cramping,backache,gassy, bloated, hungry right after eating,hot, food aversions. I've read a lot of posts on depo and I have some same symptoms. how long will this last? I've taken a test and its negative.

Im actually experiencing the same side effects you are, i got off Depo - Provera in august 2010 and im sitting here now dec 21 2010 and i am expeiriencing the worst stomach cramps ever and heavy bleeding every day, with occasional spotting once the heavy bleeding goes away now and then. I swore i was pregnant because of the stomach cramps and headaches, mood swings and i gained a few pounds i did a test of course it came up negative. i am only 16 goin on 17 in march and i fear i have ruined my life goin on this shot that was only to be to reduce my period. i honestly dont know how long this will last but its been goin on since august 2010 for me and its horrible everyday!!!

I am the same! 2 weeks off Depo same symptoms and have done 2 hpt that were negative. I got regular periods this time tho while on Depo which I never have any of the other times I've been on it.. and now I'm 8 days late but have had cramps the whole time like I've got it..
