Hi, I'm a 20 yr old college student who just this year started having protected sex with her boyfriend.  First time we did it was on Valentines day and we used a condom.  He really couldn't fit inside me, but shortly afterwards I found out about ovulation and calculated that was my fertile week, then found out about implantation bleeding.  I was freaking out up until I got my period right on schedule.  It started a little off, lighter and only when I wiped the first night, but picked up with clots and heavier bleeding all the way through the normal five days, even waking me up in the middle of the night like always.  That was about 3 months ago.

Since then my periods have still been like clockwork, end of the month on time.  My bf and I have had sex twice again with condoms and so far period has been fine.  Though everywhere I've read there is comments on periods during pregnancy.  Haven't had ANY of the pregnancy symptoms, but again have heard that they don't always strike (my mother being one of the lucky ones who didn't have morning sickness). I can't get a hold of a HPT test or the blood one, so I guess I'm turning to the forum here.

So my question is......is there still a chance I could be pregnant?

Hi Worried,

You won't have a "normal" period if you are pregnant.  There could be some bleeding, but it will be "different."

Since the timing of your period is correct and you have what appears to be your period, it is unlikely you are pregnant.

Hope it helps.
