i have always been regular, to the day, despite stress or sickness. my period is overdue by 6 days. two day ago i started spotting a couple drops of pink. then, last night, i started bleeding a little more, still much less than my real period, and have cramps. it feels just like my actual period except that i hardly bleed at all and usually when i have my period i have it for 8 days and i bleed heavily from day one to day eight. i took 4 pregnancy tests of varying brands and all say negative. i have a doctors app in s week and a half but i cant wait that long. the cramps are not as severe as with my regular period. what can this be? im really tired and sleepy, which is weird cause ive been going to bed really early lately. i do not have any other symptoms other than being a little...well...gasy. please advise, could i be pregnant? i dont want to get my hopes up....

if you have had negative HPTs being pregnant is doubtful since they are pretty accurate-Sorry. Even though you say your periods have always been extreamly regular - they can change out of the blue for no reason at all even after being like clockwork for 10 years...
Also, i noticed your name is "oldmaid" just how old are you? Do you think it might be Pre-menopause? Some people can start this as early as 35- specially if you have never had a child.
If you want to be pregnant- I hope I am wrong...but even if I am not there is always next month
You haven't lost any weight or have become more active or anything like that recently? OR started any medications? Your doc will be able to do a complete history on you and help you determine easier what exactly is going on- isn't there any way to get in any sooner?
