I started on trigestrel, a triphasic method of birth control about a month and a half ago. It didn't work  for me as I got heavy bleeding and cramps from it. I went to the doctor and got put on yaz birth control and also received estrogen tablets to stop the bleeding. Three days into my pack of yaz and three estrogen pills later the bleeding stopped. I then proceeded to have sex the day my period ended. I was only on yaz for three days when I should've waited 7 for it to be effective as a contraceptive. Could I now be pregnant keeping in mind I was on trigestrel a month before changing and keeping in mind it was a day after my period and that I continued on estrogen tablets for the next 7 days?

Because of switching you may have gone on a stronger or less strong form of birth control, or even a different hormone all together, so it is possible, it happened to me with my 1st after getting of the iud to the pill, only sure way is a test(FYI brith control is only 99% effective, I have known people to get pregnant on it for 6 months) so when you have the week of time your sapposed to have a period, if you don't then get a test. Or just take one just in case, but it's still not as Likly to be pregnant as if you went on control before.
