Well, your pulse is normal (60-100 for adults) but the normal blood pressure is 120/80.
The first number shows systolic pressure, maximum pressure in an artery at the moment when the heart is beating and pumping blood through the body and the second number shows diastolic pressure, the lowest pressure in an artery in the moments between beats when the heart is resting. Both of these numbers are important and if just one is raised, it means you have high bp.
It works differently with low blood pressure. While high blood pressure causes no symptoms and is called silent killer, low blood pressure does cause symptoms. And even if numbers show lower blood pressure but you don’t have any symptoms, your blood pressure may be considered normal.
Low blood pressure means that the blood flow is low and is not delivering enough oxygen and nutrients to organs. When this happens, the body starts complaining showing signs. So, if the brain’s not getting enough oxygen, you may feel dizzy, light-headed or you may faint. If the kidneys are not getting enough blood, they may not be able to get rid of all the wastes properly and they may stay in the body. If the heart’s not getting enough blood, you may experience chest pain and a heart-attack.
