I'm going through something similar and kind of freaking out. I know this is private but I need advice please. I had sex with my partner last Thursday and I was meant to get my period this Wednesday. On Wednesday after I went to the bathroom I noticed when I wiped it I had slight brown discharge, it went away till today (Saturday) and there is more. I don't understand. What does it mean? How can I fix it?

FROME SOMEONE WHO NEVER TAKES HER WHITE PILLS!!!
I'm not saying this is safe, nor should it be done, but i dont take my white pills. Been on the pill for about 6-7 months. Ocasionally probably every two months i get brownish red spotting. THE WAY TO FIX THIS ( for me, ive found) is to take a four or five day break from the pill. Weather you switch to your white pill or just not take any, a four day break almost always fixes my spotting. Every time.

I skipped my last few periods for personal reasons and usually a little spotting which I found normal. The last period I skipped a few weeks ago around Christmas has given me brown discharge and occasionally bleeding for the last week and half. I have ridiculous cramps.
Reading it on the internet makes me panic as things keep coming up as pregnant or infections so just want to know what everyone went through and if it’s normal or stopped before I go further

okay so pretty much the same thing is happening to me. if i just take the rest of my pack and then take the sugar pills will it go away after. I have been bleeding for almost 2 weeks and my period is not next week but the week after

I’m going through this too. I’m glad you guys have similar situations. I’m in a different country and can’t contact my dr. this is my 4th month skipping my period. First 3 we’re fine, no symptoms no bleeding. 4th month.. bam breakthrough bleeding for a couple weeks. It’s basically my body telling me I NEED to have a period. I was worried at first but I think this is all it is. Does any one know if I should ride it out til my placebo pills? It’s two weeks away UGH

Ugh I tried to skip my period, went onto another pack, and started spotting the 2nd week into the new pack. I then rode it through, kept taking active pills, and i ended up spotting all the way until my next set sugar pills. I took the sugar pills, got my period while spotting at the beginning of period blood and then I was relieved when the colour was only red and not extra brownish stuff. When it looked like my period ended, I thought I might be entering the clear zone but just started seeing brownish spotting again the next day (2nd last sugar pill day). I am hoping that when I start taking active pills again it will stop.

I have heavy periods and clots the size of my palm when Im on my period... and that's on birth control! So, my Dr said I could skip the placebo pills and not have a period. The first month everything was great. 2nd month, and Ive been spotting for the entire month! I should start my period next week, so Dr said to go ahead and have my period then try skipping the placebo pills again next month. He said sometimes it takes you body a while to adjust to not having a period. If it doesn't work the 2nd time around, we are going to have to come up with Plan B, which is probably an ablation and birth control pills (still skipping placebo pills so I don't have a period).

Hey if you’re skipping your period and still bleeding it’s a sign that the dosage of your birth control is too low. Talk to your doctor about getting on a higher dose birth control. I upper my dose to 1/35 and the bleeding stopped within a week or so. It could also be post-intercourse bleeding if you are active. Try more lube with a partner. It’s possible your cervix has become more sensitive after birth control. You can develop a condition called cervical erosion. It’s common and manageable. Talk to your doctor about this tho
