I've been recently diagnosed with having a polip on uterus. My doctor adviced me to take contraceptive pills during my next menstrual cycle, before attempting to take the polip off. Is that right?

hi, I have the same issue. colposcopy was done on polyp, so my OBGYN says its gone, maybe only small part is left, so generally for someone who n ever gave birth before its not recommended to remove it surgically. the safest way is go start birth control for 6 months and after come for check up again. polyp never gave a problem. Anyone has any info?
