I've been on seriquel for 20 years. Was ween Ed off of it. I feel like I've lost my fckin mind. Psychosis, can't remember what's real and not. Horrible nightmares. I thought my husband of 34 years slapped me. The only evidence was my face was red. I was digging at it thru these nightmares. He was arrested. I couldn't remember for days, but I do now. He never touched me. Bpd too. What the hell am I Gonna do. This is the second time he's. Tried to get me off Seriquel. Living a life in HELL. Can anyone help me!!??

I've been off Seroquel XR 150mg for almost 2 years. I STILL ITCH like crazy if I don't take an antihistamine. I take cetirizine (generic Zyrtec) to make it stop. If I miss a dose, I will feel it within a day. I'm not sure if this will ever go away. I was also taking Lexapro, later adding Abilify. BIG MISTAKE!! I gained 30lbs in 5 weeks!! I quit the Abilify immediately!! I was taking the Seroquel for sleep. I think it retained my Abilify weight since it never went away.

Are you having any luck with the Trazadone? I was in that for Bipolar one before they put me on Seroquel. I lost a lot of weight and almost quite smoking, but I also had bad vision changes and could not sleep with it at all. Good.luck in your journey!

I was on 900 mg a day 6 years ago & I am now on 25 mg. I got down to 50 mg about a month ago & got bronchitis & just didn’t take the seriquil for about a week then I had nausea real bad that wouldn’t go away after several days so I halfed the 50mg & my nausea went away. Just take enough to where u don’t have pain & wean off from there. It’s been a long ride but I’m almost there. Seriquil is very hard to get off of & the withdrawals are very harsh & could go on for years . I wish u the best . . .

I have been in seriquel for almost a year 25O mg at night and 75 mg three times a day . I cut back to one hundred mg at night . I also take klonopin 1 mg at night . I have severe wheezing and cukugh like bronchitis wake up early with anxiety . When I lowered dose of seroquel I had a.bad episode of mania where I spent a lot of money on eBay and weird behaviour . I need to stop so I can atleast breath : I am 67 years old and I have been sick for thirty years in medications that don’t work ,

I have been on serequel since my twenties I am now 52 my stomach has protruded out I made the decision to quit cold turkey yesterday and I am praying God will help me never have to take it again for my health sake please pray I can withstand the withdrawals

I'm having the same problem. I wasn't taking all that much. Just 50 mg for sleep but since I've cut back to almost nothing I am itching all over. Hope it will stop soon.
