I've been on seroquel since 1997 and stopped 3 weeks ago in the hospital. I'm still nauseous, weak, itchy, starting to get weepy. I'm just plain miserable. My doctor started me on risperdal for antipsychotic and restoril for sleep. Getting sleep. However, I stopped sweating and have the other symptoms. She stopped the risperdal to see if it was the cause. I just found sites saying all my problems could be seroquel withdrawal. Question is: HOW LONG DOES THIS LAST?? I can't stand much more.

Hi there, seroquel can take up to three months for your body to fully adjust to not having it in there any longer so bear in mind that it could take you awhile longer before you feel normal again. I hope that you realize that it will take a bit of time though so please bear with and be patient. I know you can do it. Keep us posted on how you're doing, okay?

But it is all worth it. I have wonderful family support. Hang in there. ***this post is edited by moderator *** ***
