16, female...So last Wednesday I took a plan b (next step) pill and was experiencing period like symptoms but had no period. Now that it's been a week since I took the pill I have light spotting. I know this is just a symptom from the pill but does this mean I'm pregnant or not? Or do I have to wait till I actually get my entire period to be reassured?? Not sure to be excited or freaked out lol.

There are no "signs" to indicate that Plan B has worked or that it hasn't. You basically just assume it does.
You can have spotting, sore breasts, an early or late period, and periods that are heavier or lighter than normal. All these are common side effects.
If you want you can take a pregnancy test no earlier than 2 weeks after having sex. You must use your wake up pee for the best accuracy.

You have to just ASSUME that it has worked. It is unlikely you are pregnant.
The side effects, or lack thereof, mean nothing.
Basically, you know it works if you don't get pregnant.
