Hello everybody. I had a lower transconjuntival bleph few weeks ago. I have lower lid retraction, and then had a steriod shot afterwards. There is some improvement but i still have retraction and when I smile my eye looks frozen!! My doc assures me that this will heal in time but I’m afraid that it will not. What do you think?

Yes, your doc is right. After such procedures it takes some time for your body to recover. I believe that it will be no different with you. Anyway, steroid shots do help so maybe you should see with your doc if he could give you another one. Apart from that, I would suggest giving it some time.

Hello there heartsfield,

if I were you I would stop with worrying because this can only slows down your recovery. You were trusting your doctor all this time and you should continue with the same practice. So first of all you need to preoccupie your mind with something for example reading, playing some video games or anything that will keep your mind busy so that you stop think about your problem. Your body will heal faster if your mind is spreading positive energy. You will realize this by yourself and afterwards you will be laughing that you were doubting in your doctor.

Keep us posted about your condition and your recovery process and good luck.
