I am a 26 year old female.I had my first child 9 months ago via c section. I have had normal periods all my life, and they continue to be so. I record and track my cycles and ovulation. For the past 2 months, i have been getting my periods as expected, but i am bleeding during or after sex. This has never happened to me before. I never been on the pill or birth control. I am in a monogamous relationship and have no stds. I recorded everytime the bleeding occurred. I noticed it wasnt everytime i had sex, only on days right around ovulation. I did some research, and chalked it up to being ovulation spotting. But recently, it happened again, about a week after ovulation. It seems to be happening enough to cause concern and i am going to get checked out asap.
Again this has never ever happened before.
Is it c section related? Is it normal? Is it because of ovulation? And if so why has it never happened before my whole entire life ?
I had ovarian cysts when i was 16. So painful i had to go to the E.R. They found them via ultrasound and put me on ortho tricyclin low. I took it for 3 months and stopped. They cysts never came back. Just another piece of info.
