I've been on the Depo-Vera shot for 10 months, and it has just made me insane with the side affects. They are weening me off the shot, and onto the pill...
My next shot is supposed to be August 12th, but I just wont take that one they said. I started my 1st b-control pill, Ortho Tricyclin (sp?) last night.
My boyfriend leaves this saturday and I wont be able to see him until October, and I want to be able to get a few good sex sessions in before he leaves. I should be fine right? Depo is very affective, and I'm just switching to one b-control from another and I've already been on depo for 10 months. The doctor said I'm fine, but I want to be sure.
Condoms are out of the question. #1, the just feel awful and I cant enjoy sex. AT ALL. #2, I've tried twice using condoms, and it hurt extremly bad. I'm very tight and putting a plastic bag there isn't going to help, I had a horrible infection both times I used one. I may be allergic to latex.
So what do you think. Am I safe?
