I'm a 19 year old girl, and have been on the Depo-Vera shot for 9 months now. I just got my 3rd shot a week ago, and finally stopped bleeding after 3 months.

I hadn't been on b-control until I was 18, but now I've been on it so long. My ex bf b4 my current one now (only other guy I had sex with) never wore a condom and I wasn't on any form of b-control. He just pulled out. And I was totaly fine, although I do realize that was risky now.

Although all throughout my life I've always been irregular. It was perfectly normal for me NOT to get my period for 2-5 months. I NEVER got it once a month.

But yeah, I'm on the Depo shot which is 99.7 effective, and as an added precaution I make my boyfriend pull out everytime and he wipes throughly on a towel b4 we go again. They say getting pregnant from precum without protection is like 1-1,000 and if its precum AND your on b-control your chances are virtually 0.

I talked to my doctor and she said I have nothing to worry about. And even if he did cum in me I still wouldnt have to worry, but since he pulls out there isnt even that .03 chance anymore. And wikipedia said it would go into the record books. Getting pregnant from precum while on b-conrol. And I ALWAYS take it on time. Never missed a shot, and when they give me the 2 week time period to take it, I usualy take it in the 1st few days availiable.


So with me being so careful should I even worry?
