I started off on Microgestin 1/20 (was on it for 2 years) and then switched to the 1.5/30 dosage a few months ago. Unfortunately, the change in dosage brought some negative side effects. If I were to go back to the Microgestin 1/20, would I be protected against pregnancy immediately? I know it says you can switch pills and still be protected but I just want to double check if that applies to going between dosages like this. If it's relevant or helpful: I take the pill religiously every morning.
