Hi,
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 4 months.
I am observing that since then, my periods last for not more than 1.5 days (as against 2-3 days earlier).
post that there is some light spotting but very minimal. By the 3rd day I don't even need to use a pad.

My periods are pretty regular 27-30 days. Also I am not taking any pills. Should I be worried abt this?
One other thing.. this time around, on the first day itself, the blood had a brownish tinge to it , not red

Please tell me if I am worrying unnecessarily or should I consult a gynaec.

Thanks

It seems to me like there is not much to worry about your periods getting lighter - most women would just envy you on that. I say nothing to worry about because your periods were always light, the change that trying for a baby has brought into your life simply might have had a little influence on your hormone levels. But, it definitely is not a bad idea at all to visit a gynecologist when you are trying to conceive - he/she is the person who will be able to give you the best advice based on what she sees. Wish you luck!
