Awww bless. I went through the same thing. I was very worried when I started getting this thickish whitish discharge many months before I started my periods. I started feeling guilty and blamed it on my constant masturbation. It is very normal to have that discharge prior to starting your period.
Now you did mention you had a cut on the lip. Are you referring to the lips on your vagina? How did you cut yourself there? Do you masturbate? did you use objects?
It is very unlikely the discharge will cause an infection. Just keep the region clean by gently washing with warm water. Gently open the lips and wash with warm water.
