A few days ago, I discovered blood in my semen. I went to my family doctor to get a check, and my doctor said that it may be a polyp growth. He gave me some medications to take, but before that I went to get an Ultra Sound test. I have no idea what a polyp growth is, or what it does, and I'm a male. I'm only fourteen. I had a bladder infection about a month ago, and the medications I took then were almost similar to the ones I'm taking now.
I googled this, and I read that I have hematospermia. I also read that it could be prostate cancer, but my dad says that prostate cancer only occurs in old men. Am I too young to get it? Or could this just be a polyp growth, as my doctor suggested, or is this just another bladder infection?
Right now I have to take these medications called APO-SULFATRIM DS 800/1600MG (SULFAMETH/TRIMETH DS), and I have to take it twice daily, one in the morning, and one at night.
Please give me some opinions on what might this be. Thank you for your time.

Good post OGPChester,
Hematospermia means "blood in semen."
A polyp is a growth of tissue. The grow on mucous membranes. It is likely located in your urethra and it may be congenital, you were born with it. It is likely benign, non-cancerous.
Prostate cancer is unlikely at 14. It usually occurs in men over 60.
The medicine you're on is a sulpha drug. It's an antibiotic to treat any infections. Take it exactly as prescribed and until finished even if you feel better.
Hope it helps.
