after sex I sometimes ejaculate blood, and then urinate blood with large clots wich are hard to pass. it has been going on for 4 to 5 yrs and happened once when i was 19 and didnt start again until i was about 27. I have been checked by a couple of different doctors for std and they came back neg. I have been to a couple of different urologist, been scoped twice and had my prostate checked and everything came back normal. It happens on and off. It dosent matter if I have rough sex or not it just happens when it wants to, sometimes i just have to get an erection for it to happen. in about the middle to lower back and hip hurt really bad while i am trying to pass the clots to finish urinating. My dad, who is 49, started having the problem a couple of years ago. He has been scoped a couple of time himself and i believe he has went through the TUNA treatment. And they have no explanation of why this is happening. I dont know what to do. I have found it hard to live like this and I need to find out what is going on.

Some of your symptoms remind me mine when I suffered from kidney stones. Have you had an ultrasound done to check the kidneys and ureters? It is said that if the blood comes immiditaley with urination, it is from urethra, if it occurs in the middle-it is from the bladder, kidneys or ureters and if it comes in the end-it is prostate or bladder.
When I had kidney stones, I had severe sharp pains in the lower back radiating to the groins and pelvic region. I also had troubles urinating.
Besides the stones, blood in urine could be from so many causes like inflammation to even cancer.

Unfortunately, I don't have any answers, but many men experience what you have described, including all the testing and no problem found. Not so many talk about it. I think it is like having a nose bleed - just a weak blood vessle that pops.

right....this problem started for me when i was about 16....and i have had episodes that have lasted as little as a week to about a month....rarely happens during sex and so mostly occurs when i'm loving myself haha...i have been for scrotal ultrasounds and had my kidneys checked and my prostate over the years...all tests are normal and my doc suggests it is something called hematospermia. this can be anything from a weak blood vessel to infrequent inflamation of the urethra....best to have all the tests done just for peace of mind...i wont lie i have spent many moments worrying about this and to be honest when you concentrate hard on something like this and worry about it, you can make any little ache and twinge mean cancer.....i have read up on hematospermia and it is basically a gray area....too hard to go in and have a look at and it's pretty self limiting so always heals of it's own accord...none of the tests i have had hurt so get to the doc and rule out the bad news...peace mate and may your willy still perform well even if it's only 80% of the time haha

i'm having the same problem few days ago,after like 5 to 6 round of sex in few hr,i cum blood and it really freaked me out,then i went for pee and pee-ing blood with some clot for few times,then everything went back to normal,no pain or feel anything, any idea what is actually happend to me?
