Hi everyone.
This kind of relates to the other topic I posted...
I made an appointment with an andrologist earlier this week, for those who don't know they deal specifically with problems with erectile dysfunction etc.
Anyway, my question is, considering I am paying a bloody small fortune for merely an appointment and no treatment so far does this even guarantee the doctor will go ahead and proscribe a drug for me for erection problems like Viagra for example on this first visit?
I know I am not physically impotent, because I can get an erection whenever I want, just not when I want it with my girl! So obviously my problem is psychological. My fear is that I am going into this appointment, paying £250 for it alone, which is a HUGE amount of money for me and I may come out of with nothing, but TALK!
Can anyone in the know here shed some light on whether or not a doctor needs PHYSCIAL proof of impotence or further testing on top of a initial appointment before he can actually prescribe drugs, which help in the gaining of an erection?
If the answer is "yes" then I may as well cancel my appointment now, because all I want is some pills as a fail safe for the next time I see my girl and my nervousness stops me from getting an erection without any problems...
