Would this be anything to do with my birth control?

Hi. 4 years ago I had a really bad period that lasted about a month. I was put on birth control. I developed a bump on my clit that hurt me so bad I couldn't walk. It lasted about a week. And I rode horses and I suppose from all that moving it popped it. It didn't have a head like a pimple does. So I couldn't pop it myself. And last month I got put on birth control again. My period lasted for 2&1/2 weeks. And about 4-5 days ago I had the same bump/boil thing come back up. On my clit flap thing again. It doesn't have a head again. And two nights ago I tried to pop it and I couldn't of course with no head. But I woke up yesterday and it was hurting worse and had doubled in size. At first it was just like a pea. Now my whole clit flap( sorry im not sure what it's called) is swelled completely. It hurts like hell to be completely honest. I have to keep my legs spread, if I dont, I'm a heavy girl and my vjj is fat, it pushes it all together and really hurts. Would this be anything to do with my birth control? I have some bactrim I can take for a uti. Would that hurt? There's absolutely no way I'm going to the doctor with this. Unless I honestly have to. Like in a live/die situation.
