that a women I met on this journey started. It has both + and - stories on it. It will give you some insight. But it sounds like you should see a Dr. about possibly getting some anti-depressants. I imagine you don't want to anymore than I did. I HATED IT!!!!! But please take care of yourself before anything, and let your husband know what's going on so he can deal with it and help you. Keep me updated.Loading...

What's going on? A year is a long time to not feel right, have you seen a doctor or taken any medicine? I've been off of Yaz for 5 years now and am still ill. Some other women have had long term damage too. If you let me know what it that's happening I can send you to where you need to be for support and I'm not sure maybe legal help. Let me know and I'll e-mail you back.

Hi everyone, good news! Ive been off Yaz for about 6-8months. I went offthe pill altogether for 2 months, then onto Estelle or Brenda. I'm no longer feeling anxious, depressed or ruining every relationship in my life! Things are back on track. Please get off this pill...your life will go back to normal!

Dear Posters,
I cannot tell you how your posts helped me diagnose my 6-month-running depression-like feeling. I have exactly the same symptoms since I started on Yazz and I was just feeling guilty about it until I realized it's the side effect of the pills. It's both a relief and a reason to be mad at my doctor for not warning me about this.
Thank you all for sharing!

reading all of these posts made me feel two different things:
1. relieved knowing I am not the only one in the world feeling this, and immediately after-
2. VERY UPSET! Are there ANY doctors reading all of this??? I mean there are posts from TWO years ago!! How is it possible that in a first world country they decide to give women all these hormones without even doing a background check on our hormone levels! Do you realize we are being treated as lab rats?? they are just experimenting on us!!!
yeah, i'm on Yaz right now... which may explain my evident mood swings.
Is there anybody out there who can let the rest of us know how did you feel after dropping the Yaz pill?? Any better??
I had the exact same feelings after being on it for 5 months. I stopped taking it 3 months ago, and unfortunately, I don't feel much better. The moodiness is mostly gone, but I still feel depressed and I still question my relationship a lot (even though I have an amazing boyfriend). Hopefully, you will start to feel better, but I don't. I am hoping I start feeling like myself again soon. It is supposed to take 3 months to get out of your system. Good luck
did you ever start to feel better?
Listen up Every Body!!!!!! you want to feel better?? Get your lives Back?? Smoke some Cannabis... say no to drugs just smoke bud.

Oh my gosh. These comments make me feel so much better. I have been taking Yaz for about 5 months now, and last month I had my very first ever panic attack. Since then I have had anxiety attacks and I feel like I'm going crazy! I don't even recognize myself. It's not like me at all- my whole life everyone comments on how easygoing I am. I can get stressed like anyone else, but typically things just don't get under my skin... or if they do it doesn't last.
This month I feel like it's almost a daily struggle to keep my anxiety under control. I'm worried about being able to care for my two little girls because I never know when anxiety is going to hit.
I kept wondering if the birth control was to blame, but read the packet of side effects and didn't see anxiety listed. It's good to know others have experienced anxiety with Yaz. I'm calling my doctor on Monday to switch birth control.
Crossed fingers that I go back to normal soon :)
I can't believe anxiety/depression is not listed as a side effect when obviously many women have experienced it while taking Yaz.
