I have been taking YAZ for 10 months. I have a history of two open heart surgeries in the past 4 years as well as depression. I was on wellbutrin and was doing fine. I was instructed that BC is not a good option for heart patients. I ended up pregnant and due to heart complications had to medically terminate the pregnancy. We weighted our options and YAZ was prescribed. In the past 10 months I have been so depressed, angry for no reason, feelings of hopelessness, not wanting to get out of bed and not responding to any anti depressant. My psych Dr has changed my med 3 diff times. I now take addarall to get me out of bed, xanax , ambien to sleep, and ib profen for the chest discomfort. In the past 2 months everything is getting worse. I used to go to the gym every day, loved going to work, and always enjoyed shopping. I have stopped the gym, keep calling off work for no reason, want to take ambien to sleep all day and not leave the house. Ive been in a serious relationship for the past year in a half. We now live together, but this is causing a big strain on our relationship. Im so thankful I found this web site. I feel this will save my life, job, and relationship. I took the last active pill 5 days ago. My period is usually 1-2 days, but I finally had a normal 5 days. Not bad at all. I feel happy to have a normal period. Im wondering how long it takes to get out of your system. I want to start feeling better, and get off all these other drugs. Please respond if you have any comments. ;-)
