When you take plan b/morning after pill/i-pill/emergency contraception what ever you like to call it the after effects it has is to very often cause your period to go out of sync to when you normally have it and can take several months after for them to regulate again. If you read the instructions completely before you take it then you will see possible side effects that can happen or the other alternative is to Google it or use Wikipedia and that will give you the answers you want.
