I’m taking care of my dad and we just started in home hospice.....he has copd and multiple blood clots in and on his lungs!!!! VA has denied every claim!

I hope you are still with us bro, and yes, I have an issue with the lungs as well. I developed this just after Vietnam, and it’s documented in my military medical records, and again in 1983 by VA, but they have hidden the records per FOIA EXEMPTION 5[ 552 USC§ (5)(b)] DELIBERATIVE PROCESS PRIVILEGE. In other words I have to sue to see the evidence because the VA and DOD don’t want me to see it. I will see what the VA does and go from there. I hope you are with us and I am going through similar circumstances, trying to make sure my wife and kids are taken care of after I am gone. I was denied service connection all my life, even though I was medivac’d out of Vietnam for a skin disease that was new and undiagnosed, supposedly. I’d love to hear if the VA has done anything for you. God Bless. Vic

My father also has blood clots in his lungs. They were discovered on a CT Scan for kidney stones, but caught the bottom of his lung by mistake. Is on cumadin. Has anything been accomplished with this? He didn't try too hard for benefits looking at posts like yours and others saying they were unsuccessful.

No progress has been made for me. They plan on keeping me in the dark until i’m terminal. thats when I go to the other side of this life. I am not going to suffer in the least. They are going to let us die before any compensation no matter how clear it is that Agent Orange Residuals are the cause. The VA paid a dermatologist to fleck me out, but what he told me and what was written in the denial letter are two different things. The VA F*cked me period. The VBA is corrupt from the BVA down. You wouldn’t think the next to highest courts in the land would be such liars, but they continue to prove how corrupt government is, and have you noticed who it is? James Comey the democrat FBI. Loretta Lynch the democrat DOJ. Now it the democratic Treasury Department. The BVA,I would bet are all Democrats. Democrats run the entire government and screwed us to death. We are all doomed. Are you still researching agent Orange? I don't know how old this post. My husband was in Vietnam and he was a comment engineer. They sprayed for agent Orange. In 1991 he died of pulmonary embolism. Fast forward to 2023 and I'm trying to apply for benefits and the VA will not recognize it as a service connected condition. I'm looking for anybody who can help me. If you're not doing it thank you for your hard work that you have done I'm hoping that there is some kind of evidence or whatever they require that will finally allow them to see that this is ijdeed of connected issue.
