I am 47 years old and I have been diagnosed with intermittent claudication, left leg only. Now, I would like to hear what would be my options. Will I have to be on the therapy for the rest of my life, or is there some procedure that might help? I have heard that angioplasty for this condition might show some results. Is that true? Did anyone have any experience with that?

Well, the procedure might be done, but only when the symptoms are really endangering the quality of life and the body’s functioning. This means that the medications are much practical and those will surely help you. They say that angioplasty is not that successful and that many who had it had to continue with the therapy.
